The whole Monolith THX line is outstanding. Be aware they are all 4 ohm speakers, but any decent receiver can power them at normal volumes. It's been years since the price on this Center has been this low.
Ordered one. So my denon receiver specs say 6 ohms. Shoulda I be worried at higher volumes. Also my LR are 6 ohms and different brand, would timbre mismatch be noticeable

So long as you don't drive it at reference levels you should be ok. If you're driving other 8 ohm speakers then with output at half scale it would still be very loud without clipping or the receiver shutting down due to over current protection
I have this and enjoy it along with two 365t for my front stage.
Driven fine by a denon x3800h despite 4ohm load. I have an avr cooler which i highly recommend.
Doing the same with a 3700h. Gets insanely loud yet clean with no issues or overheating at all ever. Never measures more than 84 degrees how I have the aircom fan set. The ohms thing people jabber about in every single mono thread here is complete and utter BS. Total fear mongering that should be ignored. Buy this incredibly good speaker and enjoy with pretty much any half way decent AVR. So long as you don't stuff the AVR in a cabinet with poor ventilation like a dummy you will be fine. Smoking deal too!

You think you a Denon S970H is decent enough to power this? Need to upgrade my Sony core center
Don't worry about a 6 OHM receiver! It will power this 4 OHM speaker fine. Especially since the drivers aren't huge in it. Obviously make sure you have the 1-2" of ventilation above your receiver.
Just keep in mind most receivers aren't high-current amps, so if you are trying to fill a 30x30 room you might want to use an external amp.
I keep going back and forth between this speaker and the SVS prime center channel. That speaker is on sale for $299 at SVS right now. I would only be getting the center and then upgrading my bookshelf speakers down the road.
Never seen it this low. Best center channel in this price range and well reviewed (measures extremely well). I bought this at full price and am very happy with it. If you're coming from a soundbar, this is on a whole different level. Excellent dialogue clarity no matter where you are sitting, and sounds similar across a fairly wide horizontal and vertical span.

Amazon also has it $302.99 now. Could be a better deal for prime members with 5% cash back.
