I'm on simple choice and I qualified. Already traded in two phones. One for a 9 pro xl and one for a regular 9. If you go to the product page and try from there it's gonna keep trying to add a line for the promo. You have to go to the number's profile and select upgrade from there.

Worked for me from P8 128gb to P9 Pro. Simple choice plan, no activation fee.
Can't stand the P8 finger print sensor. For $200 plus tax, I get a new battery, better camera, and 128gb storage. Seemed palatable.
Now I wait for latercase black Friday sale!

Your phone needs to be active on the network for 60 days for them to unlock but you can call and request couple of days before an upcoming international trip for them to unlock stating that you need to use a SIM from that region.

Looks like when going through the verification process you have to provide the IMEI first before seeing any info if a plan change will be required. The last deal that didn't make me change the plan was a 13 Pro Max deal.

Anyone know if the Sprint Kickstarter Plan which is now T-Mobile TI Unlimited Kickstart qualifies?

EDIT: Holy crap. I skipped the trade in and was able to get to the cart without any mention of a plan change. Seems like it may work on the plan that keeps on giving.

T-Mobile's Android phones provide a "Temporary unlock" feature in the settings. This feature enables you to unlock your phone multiple times a year. You don't need to contact customer support to request an unlock; you can do it before you leave the country.
