I'm on simple choice and I qualified. Already traded in two phones. One for a 9 pro xl and one for a regular 9. If you go to the product page and try from there it's gonna keep trying to add a line for the promo. You have to go to the number's profile and select upgrade from there.

I got a super nice rep calling in. Played innocent about the purchasing via t-life app not working.

Was your Costco shop card instructions just a website and use promotion code to apply for the 100 shop card and get it within 120 days? sounds like you need to submit your claim via https://promotions.t-mobile.com/Costco within 30 days, I assume from the date of purchase

I am upgrading two phones. Yesterday I bought an s9 off swappa and got the imei to do the trade in deal. Did it through the tmobile website. Called in afterwards to waive the activation fee (put a note in my file) and they agreed to do once I activated the phone and called them. I heard about the costco deal and wanted to try that. Got an apathetic rep who said it's an online only deal and that he could only help if I was having issues placing the order online. I asked if he could make an exception or can help me out here, but said he can't since its a recorded call and all. I then told him that I am trying to place the order online and am having issues on the spot. He said ok, might be able to do something, but needed to talk to his manager first. Came back and was denied.

Today I called in to costco Tmobile and got a nicer rep. I immediately told him that I can't login to my account through the app and doing through the website was giving me issues too. He agreed to help and I was able to successfully go through with the trade in deal through costco. Got activation waived (had to ask his manager for approval) and 2 x $100 Costco shopcards.

Now just need to return the phones from the first order once they arrive.
