I'm on simple choice and I qualified. Already traded in two phones. One for a 9 pro xl and one for a regular 9. If you go to the product page and try from there it's gonna keep trying to add a line for the promo. You have to go to the number's profile and select upgrade from there.

That used to be the case, but they recently changed the policy so that would no longer work. EIPs created before 7/1/24 were not affected,'only those created after. You might fall into the former.

This is very tempting to trade my s22 plus for the pro 9 xl. Anyone think if I wait, the s24 plus will be more heavily discounted once the s25 comes out? I've never had a pixel phone, always in the Samsung ecosystem and worried about making the switch. Anyone goto pixel from Samsung and regret it?

I was able to do this through the phone for T-Mobile Costco. But I'm not sure if they did it right. I didn't see any promo code/etc. on the actual EIP thing you sign. He said I wouldn't see it. Anyone that did this through Costco see the same, any promo code anywhere on any of the docs?

Went from an A52 to a Pixel 7, and never looked back. The A52 pretty much sucks though.

Same here, the rep said it wouldn't show up and I had to trust his word and sign the EIP without seeing the trade-in. When I logged in and looked at the orders, I did see the trade-in, however the value says $25 which isn't correct. I will have to sort it with T-Mobile if it goes south. It might be wise to go through T-life app just so we have proof of everything.

Can anyone confirm if there is a way to get proof of it?

Received the phone. During first boot up it pops up a window to download the eSIM for the upgrade line, so it look like it is dangerously to cell the phone in sealed condition to strangers.

Just already reiterate, the promotion will not show up on the checkout page. You have to wait one or two billing cycles to see that it worked. I have a ONE PLUS (for business) rate plan. I went to the T-Mobile store, but they said the promotion was online only. So I finally got the T-Life app set up and all the verifications so I go to the shop tab, and then upgrade...but he wrong promotion number is showing though, it's showing promotion ID 240539 which is for the Go5G plan. I talked to several phone reps as well as the in-store rep and they all verified that the promotion will NOT show on the checkout page. You just have to trust them send your trade-in and then wait one or two billing cycles for the credits to start showing up which is kind of bullshit but whatever

It's not a scare tactic. Someone here did confirm he got the $500 discount promo instead of the $800. Best to confirm each order with T-Mobile themselves

Just a heads-up that not all plans qualify. Chatting with T-Mobile, they said the Select Choice plan does not qualify.
