I'm on simple choice and I qualified. Already traded in two phones. One for a 9 pro xl and one for a regular 9. If you go to the product page and try from there it's gonna keep trying to add a line for the promo. You have to go to the number's profile and select upgrade from there.

$200 for upgrade from 6 pro to 9 pro. I have simple 55 plan. Super amazing deal. Only works online. Cant use Costco FYI. Good luck

I called kiosk at Sams i upgraded from and the rep just told me to submit it and it'll go through.

I highly doubt it tho, at least my plan didnt change.

Do I have to keep the phone for 2 years? Can I sell it next month? Any penalty for that?

To get the deal you are committing to two years of service. As long as you keep paying that monthly bill, I imagine they don't care what you do with the phone.

I haven't read through all the comments, but because of the title of this post "Pixel 9 XL" I got a little confused about the options. Title should read Pixel 9 Pro XL.
Just in case anyone else is confused, the options in the lineup are:
Pixel 9
Pixel 9 Pro (difference between 9 and 9 Pro here [reddit.com])
Pixel 9 Pro XL (the Pro but with larger screen)

With an $800 trade in value cost for me was:
Pixel 9 --- Free
Pixel 9 Pro --- $8.33
Pixel 9 Pro XL --- $8.33

the new phone will be locked to Tmobile for 24 months. someone did mention in the thread that you can get it unlocked fully ( temporary is always allowed) if you pay off, but if you payoff before 24 month the monthly credit will no longer be given to you.

is anyone able to get this deal by calling Costco Tmobile? Would like to get the $100 rebate if possible.

I called and they said it's a web offer only and needs to be done on the tmobile website or app.

The phone is under EIP contract until 24 months are up. I don't think it will be imei clean until then. Meaning whoever buys it probably will have problem trading it in. In the past you can buy out the contract for what is remaining to be paid, but you can't do that anymore with tmobile without losing the rest of the bill credits.

I just got my with trad in my S20 FE for 9 Pro XL
pay 8.33/mo with my Family plan(ancient plan 4 line for $120+tax)
it a very good deal b/c I have been using T-Mobile for the past 9 years and still need 2 more years until it can be unlocked...
it has been my first contract phone for a very long long time. For most phones I have it unlock a phone
good buy for this time of years
p.s. it online deal only as T-Mobile said
