I'm on simple choice and I qualified. Already traded in two phones. One for a 9 pro xl and one for a regular 9. If you go to the product page and try from there it's gonna keep trying to add a line for the promo. You have to go to the number's profile and select upgrade from there.

Just got off the phone with them and CSR had to call web support and web support rep said it is a system wide error. There was an internal memo sent to customer care about it. But basically was told to redo the order adding the buds too (if your original order included it) and they will honor the promo. We shall see.

i would still call customer support and then mention the memo about this fiasco and hopefully they see it. from what i could understand, the web support dude mentioned something about "atlas" and customer support was able to see the memo.

Got this sms "T-Mobile Alert: order#xxx was not completed. Please call 1-800-937-8997 to complete this transaction. Your order will be cancelled if no action is taken." Called, and after being pinballed through various costumer service reps, i ended up with a supervisor. They all told me that they dont know the reason of cancelation and that they cant replicate nor honor the promo. Tried the app chat, over there I was told that the order is not canceled and rest assured i will get my phone. Checked the web, also shows order canceled. (White pixel pro xl 9 with buds on us ordered Dec 2nd)

That's what I'm afraid of. If that's a manual credit they need to apply every month it can easily go wrong and leave you on the hook for $$$ (or make you waste your time contacting support monthly). I don't understand why they refuse to simply re-issue canceled orders with all the original promos applied. Should be fairly easy on their end

Is that chat on their website? I tried that one and they only offered me the option to re-order with the (unwritten anywhere) promise of them then manually applying credits after a couple of billing cycles. I don't think I'm gonna do that, this all is some BS

T-Force (Twitter) Reps are the best. You can count on them to deliver. The guy I dealt with knows the issue right away. He says he would follow up right after the billing cycle.
