$350 is just right price for starters who never use VR. Dont forget, unlike MQ3, you have to own ps5 or high end pc+adapter to use it.
You'll also need Bluetooth for the controllers, the PC Adapter does not cover that. So if you have issues with your current Bluetooth you might need to pick up a compatible receivers. I had no compatibility issues with the onboard Bluetooth of my motherboard.
Once it's connected it is SteamVR compatible and you'll run the PlayStation®VR2 App found on Steam to setup the play area and update firmware as needed. If the specific simracing you're looking for goes outside of SteamVR you may need to verify it is good with that.

The psvr2 isn't worth it because Sony has put almost no effort into supporting it. This is coming from a vr1 owner. Got burned by that...

OLED also has some issues on tradeoff, but the LCD and overall maturity of Meta Quest headset makes the experience almost streak free.

I own the vr1 and loved it minus the wonky controllers. Beat saber, job simulator, after the fall, and Arizona sunshine were all incredible experiences. I bought my vr1 used for $100 long after it passed its prime and had a blast.
I might bite at this price knowing full well it is at the end of its life.
