Any significant difference between this one and the Acer from Costco?

The only major difference between the 2, in my opinion, is the curvature of the screen.
The MSI is 1000R, while the Acer is 1500R. The smaller the "R" number the more curve there is. Some people prefer a more immersive experience and a 1000R curve nearly matches the curve of your own eyes. Some people may find it too aggressive. It really comes down to preference. If you have time this weekend, I would recommend dropping by a nearby store that is selling monitors to decide which curve you like better, then pull the trigger between these two.

1800R curve is the best IMO, but they are few and far between now. The problem with the 1000R monitors is that the curve isn't constant, they are more curved in the center, and flatter at the outside. The 1800R curves are consistent. I own both. 1500R is going to be the better choice between those two. Dell does have an 1800R on sale for $200 right now. Thinking of picking one up myself to match my older MSI 1800R.
