Be careful with your trade in. I jumped on this deal last time. It took several days to get it to Samsung and then several more days for their tech to look at it. They told me that my old watch was not resetted even though I did do the reset. They asked for proof, but I did not take a video of me resetting the watch. They said their tech could not do the reset. So they denied my trade-in, and returning my old watch. However they said the return Windows has passed so I cannot return the Watch 7. So I have to keep the Watch 7 and they charged me $200 for it. But then they said they will reset my old watch before returning it. But I am scratching my head because they said they can't reset my old watch in the 1st place. And now they are resetting it because the trade in was denied. Huh? I don't get it. I have been a loyal fan with Samsung for many years. I have had many of their premium products. This is stupid and I am done with them.

Sorry for the rant. If you're doing this trade-in. Be sure to take a video of you resetting your device in case they want proof. So you don't end up like my case.

Rule #1. Always pay with a virtual card
Rule #2. Record EVERYTHING. Condition of the watch, resetting, how much it was charged, packaging it.

If you follow these 2, Samsung will almost never do anything.

Also, lately Samsung is taking far too long to get the trade-ins evaluated. From the last deal, mine got delivered to them on Oct 28, and they told me to reach back on Nov 15 if the trade in was still not evaluated. I did reach out and they manually closed the trade in. So don't wait for more than 2 weeks for them to evaluate your device

I don't necessarily believe in lying, but if you tell them you have a video they usually just cave and give you the discount from what I've heard at least

I have done it in the past. Returned it to local Bestbuy with no issues before initiating trade-in.

The rep told me I could open my box and still return the watch. I opened it and returned it with no difficulties.

I am in the same boat as you. Can you check your receipt and see if it specifies the style and size of the wrist band you order. Mine doesn't show.

I really don't see the need for these smartwatches that are essentially wrist -smartphones.

I'm seriously wondering if people outside of the people I know, are just going places without their smartphone?

Definitely understand watches meant for fitness tracking, super helpful and decently accurate way to track overall health & fitness data. However do you need LTE functionality, weather information everywhere, games?

I'm in the market for a watch, but I'm looking at going with a Garmin.

I kinda feel the same for the cellular watches. I always have my phone on me.

I use mine just like you mentioned; fitness but also sleep data. Notifications without pulling my phone out is one of the big ones, especially as I usually have my hands full at work or I'm on two wheels.

I'd love to go with Garmin if they can do at least all of this as I hear the battery life is much better. Also, if they did some kind of trade-in so I can recoup some of what I've spent with Samsung.

Now you can trade any smartwatch in any condition and still get $250. I canceled my initial order, and I'm going to reorder and trade in some cheap smartwatch I can find.
Even the $10 kids smartwatch like with Samsung 6 watch? If so kinda wasteful to trade in my 6 that's still unused...the battery life ruined it for me so was waiting for a deal on a better watch like this

What's the difference 40 mm or 44, is it just size? I have a smaller wrist , why would the 44 have better battery life?

I tried this myself and it appears it doesn't meet the minimum dollar threshold.
