I've had this headset for close to 5 years. Absolutely love it.

Some thoughts,
The display will eventually get heavy burn in. My mic is now very low but I can likely clean it to improve it. Batteries both still hold plenty of charge. Very comfortable and won't buy another headset without the bungee again. The earcups are plush no pain while wearing glasses.

Would this work for PS5?
It should, however there is some chatter online about fully utilizing the "3D Audio" option natively.

If anyone can update with their experience I too would appreciate.

Just gonna throw my opinions/experience in here too. The arctis pro wireless are pretty good. I'd recommend them especially at this price. Just be careful with them. The hinges between the ear cups and the metal band are attached with plastic. They will wear out eventually. Mine started cracking after about 2 years. I would recommend when putting them on or taking them off that you grab them from the metal band, NOT the ear cups. I was able to semi-reinforce them with some epoxy, but it's going to fall apart again at some point.

Arctis pro wireless vs Nova pro wireless

Now onto my hate for their newer model:
I've tried the newer nova pro wireless and while they do sound a bit better, there's way too many issues I had with them that they ended up returned.
For chatmix to function on the novas you need to install sonar. They set a limit in software where you can't use the feature without sonar, and there's no reason for this. The regular arctis pro wireless did it all on device. I even dug extensively to find alternative ways of enabling it on device and came up with nothing. Sonar might be fine for some people, but whenever I've used it, I've had constant sound issues like crackling or popping, or disconnects. It also hogs resources on my pc. What's funny as hell, is you can't even adjust chat mix from within sonar. It tells you to use the DAC or headset. So why is it even required then? Idk.
Onto the actual hardware for the novas.
The volume wheel is recessed and small, And it's smooth plastic so it's hard to grip. (arctis pro wireless is rubber so it's grippy, and not recessed) although being recessed isn't entirely bad because it means when you lean against your chair it won't touch the volume wheel, but it's still so small that I found it annoying. The ANC is a total gimmick, you will not gain much from it.
This one will probably piss you off, you can't mute or change the volume of the beeps when interacting with the novas. (unlike the older arctis pro wireless which has a volume setting for beeps, or disabling them)

So yeah. I'd definitely recommend the arctis pro wireless over the newer nova pro wireless.
Because mine kinda broke though I decided to give the audeze maxwells a shot, and so far I've been pretty happy with those. They have some issues too though like the battery saving feature making it always fade in to audio so you miss a couple seconds of what you play or skip to (but I found an app online that tricks it into staying on) Also several firmware bugs, and sometimes weird sound glitches. But otherwise they sound amazing.

If you have a large head, and you happen to shave it also, you might run the risk of the metal band digging into the top of your head. The bungee tends to prevent that on smaller noggins. I, too, have a relatively large head and with proper adjustments, I do not find it uncomfortable.

How are these for conference calls? I use Google workspace and there is no native voice isolation unless I use my iphone and AirPods. When I use my laptop everyone can hear my kids crying etc. TIA

Steelseries headphones across the board use a "noise cancelling mic" which provides good sound isolation. This is not some fancy electronic noise cancelling, just an acoustic design long used on things like helicopter headsets to pick up the users voice and cancel out ambient sounds.

I have used Steelseries headsets for working from home since 2020 (first a basic wired one, now the Arcris Nova Pro Wireless) and they're great. Also good for music. I'm not a gamer, just wanted something comfortable since between music and meetings I'm wearing these for 8+ hours.

They're great, comfortable, and look reasonably professional.
