Total charged to your card per order (assuming a 7.5% tax rate like it is here) would be $53ish.
You'd end up with:
4x 12 = 48 mini appliances
1x 12 = 12 washclothes
15x 12 = $180 kohl's cash
48 x 12 = $576 rebate
7.5% kohl's card cashback = 53 * 12 * 0.075 = $47.70
It's like a $170 profit. Though I don't have the 30% off coupon in my wallet for some reason and I think it might be limited to 20 times-- so you might have to use the 20% off one for two of those orders. Math might be slightlyyyy off but should be close.

The extra $10/50 code only applies 1x per order, it is not per $50, so you would still be spending a little more than 40% off on one big order and 1x use of the $10/50 home code. But might be worth it just for the convenience if you go that route.

$170 profit on the order itself, if he's selling the items, say at $7 a pop huge MM.
Also Kohls cash is not discountable, so I only count it's worth at $8 since at any given time there's usually a 20% off code floating around.

and you create a lot of garbage with these appliances no one needs.

Agree on the rebate, you have to gather all the units in one place and cut out the UPC's being sure to keep the like ones together. It does take a little time, but a good project for a rainy morning or afternoon when you don't have much else to do.
As for the garbage, I beg to differ, I've never had an issue selling these for $5 (especially the coffee maker and mini chopper). In fact I keep one of the 5 cup coffee maker in a vacation place I go to, going on 4 years and still working great. You can also donate them to goodwill or any charity and get the donation receipt. No reason to toss them. Someone somewhere can use the items.
Key is, lumping all the LIKE UPC's together and stapling or clipping them together so it is easy for the rebate house to match up UPC's to what's on the rebate form.
I always include a cover letter showing the # of product being submitted and the expected rebate amount. (ie, 12 purchased total, $144 expected)
Best to make copies of everything you send in, rather than stuffing a bunch of UPC's and forms into a standard size business envelope, I use a larger flat envelope so everything doesn't have to be folded and it is much easier for the rebate house to open/gather. Costs about $1.50-2. (stamps are 73c each now). The less risk of having my submission getting messed up on a $144 rebate for instance, the extra postage is worth the investment.
B-cause Kohls had the extended return period around the holidays, they don't even start processing the rebates typically until mid January, which is why it will take a good 8-10 weeks to get your rebate funds back. SO BE PATIENT.
