Repost, this is one of their Black Friday Deals, and it made the front page on 11/07.
You're right that this deal was previously posted, but technically we don't consider posting it again to be a repost. The older thread has been inactive for long enough that posting the deal again is no problem. Sometimes it's nice for a deal discussion to get a fresh start

Good to know. So this isn't a YMMV deal, correct? Because it's easy to replicate, readily available, and not dependent on some code or location (B&M) etc. Learning things here.

This doesn't look YMMV to me. Home Depot is one of those merchants that sometimes has regional variance in their pricing, though, so it can be hard to tell whether something is a national deal.

To help clarify the mods post, there are certain guidelines on when mods will merge one thread into another as repost. The original thread has to be more than a week old and no posts in the thread the past 5 days for a new thread not to be merged. So that's the case for this one. The original thread is over a week old and no posts in about 9 or 10 days so new threads for this same item won't be merged into it. (If there had been comments in the other more recently within the past 5 days then it would have been merged).
As to your other questions. It's Home Depot so those are often YMMV even if they shouldn't be, due to stock selling out for shipping then being in store or store pickup only, the store in your city having a different price, things like that. But this deal is part of their national Black Friday sale[homedepot.com] so beyond any stock issues, it should be fine.

People get bent over the silliest stuff. I never noticed this deal before and just bought it because it's posted now.

It's right on the cover of the Home Depot BF ad and it's been this price every year, quite a few times per year going back to 2020. https://www.homedepot.com/c/localad
YMMV would be waiting until after Xmas and snagging the leftover stock when it drops to $80 or less....
