Not sure if this is new info so FYI

Great deal. In my history I had purchased the 32gb kit in Nov 2021 for $102. This is now double for half the price.

The timings on the crucial were specific to the Lenovo legion I got which didn't play well with other brands and timings to allow for the faster rate.

Crucials system scanner and lookup tool are great for making sure you get what you need and is the reason I buy upgrades just from them. Too many times buying and returning tam

Same price at Newegg (with $20 coupon) if you have gift cards to use like I did. Or you can buy the $100 GC for $90 (last day) and use it to purchase.

Pardon my ignorance but I'm being honest and am considering upgrading so…..

Is upgrading to this 2x32GB RAM overkill for my laptop that has 8 GB DDR4-3200 SDRAM (2 x 4 GB). It does support but idk how practically advantageous would this be?

Yes….goggle your laptop name and model number so you can determine the maximum amount of ram your laptop can handle.

Unless you're using your laptop to build Android or something, way overkill.

Thank you. It does support but I'm having trouble seeing any real world difference. My laptop has AMD Ryzen 5 5500u processor, and I do light low end gaming pc 720p.

I think that is for an entire computer, not components. I recently returned some ram no issue and the package was not sealed. Also be sure if you buy small items like this you don't order any thing heavy even unrelated regular subscriptions like Grocery items because those geniuses will package them together in a box with one slip of paper as "packing" and completely smash your small item in transit.
