Not sure if this is new info so FYI

Amazon.com Return Policy: You may return any new computer purchased from Amazon.com that is "dead on arrival," arrives in damaged condition, or is still in unopened boxes, for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Amazon.com reserves the right to test "dead on arrival" returns and impose a customer fee equal to 15 percent of the product sales price if the customer misrepresents the condition of the product. Any returned computer that is damaged through customer misuse, is missing parts, or is in unsellable condition due to customer tampering will result in the customer being charged a higher restocking fee based on the condition of the product. Amazon.com will not accept returns of any desktop or notebook computer more than 30 days after you receive the shipment. New, used, and refurbished products purchased from Marketplace vendors are subject to the returns policy of the individual vendor

Pardon my ignorance but I'm being honest and am considering upgrading so…..

Is upgrading to this 2x32GB RAM overkill for my laptop that has 8 GB DDR4-3200 SDRAM (2 x 4 GB). It does support but idk how practically advantageous would this be?
If you've been getting by with 8GB, then an upgrade to 16 would likely be for you. Gamers usually aim for 32. 64 would be more for professionals or PC enthusiasts. I could get by with 16 playing the newest PC games but I like to run multiple monitors with numerous other software running on the side so I need 32 to prevent issues and bottlenecks in performance.

2x 32GB maybe too excessive, but an upgrade to at least 2x8GB (or 2x16GB) will obviously be useful.

Could somebody kindly recommend whether I'd need 32GB to run photo and light video editing/ similar software. Or is 16GB good enough?

How easy would it be to get a price adjustment on this if I bought 2 days ago?
Edit: Took a chance and talked to customer service. Couldn't be easier.

I currently have 2x16 DDR5 4800MHz in my laptop, would it be a bad idea to get double the RAM with this deal but at lower speed? how much performance degradation would I expect with DDR4 vs DDR5?

Thanks OP! I ordered one to see if fits in the QNAP TS-464 that I bought this BF. Users report that can receive 32GB but maybe can handle 64GB let's find out!

You can't use DDR4 in a DDR5 system. The pin layout is completely different.
