this is not a deal. it was the same price with $10 GC a month ago. I was wondering how often Target runs the promo with $10 GC.

I believe this target model is similar to the Duo Plus, which is $80 from Walmart.

Depends on your needs, I use the 6qt when cooking for a family of 5 and always have leftovers still. Maybe you have a family of 10 or just really fat people

Personally I'd hold out for one of the models with the stay-put design and the plastic handles affixed to the inner pot. I've got a 6 Qt Instant Pot Duo Lux that's been working fine for ten years--the pot spinning in place as I'm trying to stir stuff and the difficulty in getting it out have been my only complaints.

Just take a binder clip and attached it to the liner and IP side which will prevent the spinning when stirring... not my idea - someone else mentioned it on Slickdeals and it has been genius!

More like the old Viva model.

Personally, I think it's a good deal. But I already have the Duo and a Nova for spare backup.
I think target's had this on sale the last 3 holiday seasons now. Still, a good buy.

The Duo and the Lux are two different models. The Lux is single pressure (high) only, and no Yogurt setting either. Also lacks the slots on the handles to hold the lid open. Model name should be on the display panel. The old Best Buy Insignia model was a Lux clone.
