Bought 2 packs!

I've had a few of these leak in certain devices in the past (for whatever reason, the instax cameras just love to cause batteries to leak! But also an Apple keyboard and another device).

Duracell stands behind the product and will actually write you a check if the batteries damage a device. Ideally they wouldn't leak, but the fact they stand behind the batteries has me sticking with them.

Kirkland batteries seemed to leak much easier, haven't had enough experience with Energizer. I used to use exclusively rechargable eneloops but have been using these again lately mostly just out of convenience.

Costco currently has 40 AAA or AA for $18 in store. Saw it yesterday and didn't think it was much a deal. Now see this prices, I will grab some next weekend at Costco.

Some people don't want to keep dozens of batteries on the shelf. This pack is about the right size for when you want just a few spares.

You have to buy the USA ones not the China ones which purchasing from Amazon there would be absolutely not way to tell which ones you're buying. The USA ones are the same quality Duracell has always been.

I've bought more Kirkland batteries than I care to admit and I've rarely had any leak on me. At least not any more often than any other brand. They used to be rebranded Duracell. Now with the new colorway, I believe they're rebranded Energizers.

Thanks for the info. I buy the ones from Costco, and oh noes!, they're made in China and always leak. I opened up a small device recently, and one battery was a Duracell, made in china, and the other was a GP, made in China....the duracell was the one that broke open and leaked, leading to another round of wire brush and baking soda to save the device from the garbage duracells.

It was built in China, sure, but following Duracell's specifications on quality. It's ultimately Duracell's practice of bottomless cost saving. There are many manufacturers in China and Duracell probably went for the cheapest.

I was a big Duracell fan for years until a 9V Duracell leaked and destroyed the battery connector and lead in my Fluke 87V multi-meter... I wasn't aware of Duracell's replacement policy at the time and had a hell of a time finding the replacement J style connector Fluke uses on the other end of the 9V pigtail.

No more 9V Duracell's for me. I will use their AA's and AAA's, but only in something I don't mind tossing out in the event of a leak.
