So I was helping my uncle set up security cameras for his warehouse which needed internet, and found this great deal on internet!

T-mobile has a hidden plan for 30GB data a month data plan (you get your own sim and need your own device).

I got a cellular modem for $40: https://www.netgear.com/home/mobile-wifi/lte-modems/lm1200/ [netgear.com] and was able to use it with T-mobile's provided sim card.

Call in or use their online chat to inquire about the "Basic Mobile Internet 30GB plan (SOC: MI30TE or MI30TI)". It is $15/mo but you get a $5/mo discount by using autopay.

If you can't repro then you suck. This also provides you with a phone number for the data account and you get access to t-mobile tuesdays despite it only being a data plan

Anyone have any luck using this plan with one of their Gateways?
Did you get an answer? I'm curious to see if it can use on G4AR or KVD21.

You know, I did not get an answer and I haven't researched any further. This YT channel I follow just reviewed a new 5G router that I haven't had a chance to dig into yet. Ideally, I would rather buy one of their 5G Gateways because you can get them way cheaper than this.

It works fine but the 30gb goes by very fast.

Thank you. I just did this. Agent answered right away on the Costco line, and it took 27 minutes as a new customer to setup two lines. No activation, free 2-day shipping (UPS) of SIM cards, $15 per/month total for both. Autopay can only be setup with a DEBIT card or bank account, NOT a CREDIT card. I was required to do a credit app to establish the new account, and then was told I was approved for up to 15 lines. The rep confirmed that each line is assigned a telephone number and while they cannot make/receive calls the line CAN be used for T-Mobile Tuesdays discounts. Excellent deal.

Orded two lines on the 14th. Received the two SIM cards on the 18th. Thanks for mentioning debit or bank account only for autopay (meaning for discount eligibility). That prompted me to log into my account to look at payment settings, where I read that "starting Apr. 14, 2025, only debit cards and bank payments will be eligible for AutoPay discounts." The rep did not mention this. My credit card on file for autopay was indeed flagged as ineligible for discount. I changed it to a debit card and was provided confirmation that doing so results in $10 per month discount. It is more than a little annoying that they now have my debit card number on file, but worth $10 per month I suppose.

The real hack is to have the debit card on file for autopay but make manual payments via credit card so you still get the autopay discount and whatever benefits/points via your credit card.

When you go through Costco do you have to ask them to waive fees or do they just do that automatically? Also, do we need to give Social Security #?
I didn't have to ask for a waiver of fees, they automatically did it. My only cost was for the two plans, no tax.

I am using the Netgear LM1200 4G modem right now. Speed about 15/5 Mbps. Yesterday I tried the TCL Linkport 511 5G modem and the speed was about the same as the Netgear. I may have to try the Inseego M3000 next. I can move the sim card around without issue.

I just did this deal over the phone as a new customer bringing my own hotspot, BOGO was still active in addition to 2x$25 Costco cards for taking the BOGO offer. They were also offering a Revvl tablet for free with another BOGO for 2 more lines for $15, you have to keep the lines for 24 months. Took 30 mins and the rep picked up immediately when I called in.
would you happen to know the SOC on this one that involves that revvl tablet for free? I've been looking for it and can't find that deal unfortunately.

I was able to sign up for this deal but few days later I see a pending charge on my debit card from tmobile in the amount of $218. I've contacted them and they don't even see any charges from their side.

Did anyone get the GC for the Costco BOGO deal if it had been over 90 days?
