T-mobile has a hidden plan for 30GB data a month data plan (you get your own sim and need your own device).

I got a cellular modem for $40: https://www.netgear.com/home/mobile-wifi/lte-modems/lm1200/​ [netgear.com] and was able to use it with T-mobile's provided sim card.

Call in or use their online chat to inquire about the "Basic Mobile Internet 30GB plan (SOC: MI30TE or MI30TI)". It is $15/mo but you get a $5/mo discount by using autopay.

If you can't repro then you suck. This also provides you with a phone number for the data account and you get access to t-mobile tuesdays despite it only being a data plan Smilie

T-Mobile has a home Internet backup plan for $10 ($20 without voice line) a month that includes 130gb of data. Seems like a better use of anyone is planning to use this at one location.

Didn't roam so I cancelled mine

Maybe when starlink starts killing this business they will add roaming

If you can't make and receive calls/texts from that phone number, then what is it used for?
You can receive text messages via their web ui, and the phone # is used to sign into the online account

Can the hotspot be taken wherever someone wants? TMHI I believe is locked down to a tower/locality.
