T-mobile has a hidden plan for 30GB data a month data plan (you get your own sim and need your own device).

I got a cellular modem for $40: https://www.netgear.com/home/mobile-wifi/lte-modems/lm1200/ [netgear.com] and was able to use it with T-mobile's provided sim card.

Call in or use their online chat to inquire about the "Basic Mobile Internet 30GB plan (SOC: MI30TE or MI30TI)". It is $15/mo but you get a $5/mo discount by using autopay.

If you can't repro then you suck. This also provides you with a phone number for the data account and you get access to t-mobile tuesdays despite it only being a data plan Smilie

Just use your Hot Spot data, when you need it. Why even pay 10.00 a month?

Does anyone know if this is locked to a location (home) or can this be used e.g. for a hotspot e.g. in a car?

I had a similar use case, 7 security cameras for an apartment building, just so I could check up on things... I went with a 750kbps/unlimilted ($89 for a year) IOT sim card, Netgear LM1200 for 4g modem ($30) and 2x Linksys ln1301 ($30 for two from woot a couple months ago) routers in mesh. I used reolink cameras that store video locally. Works well enough enough for streaming the cameras one at a time. Recorded video doesn't stream fast enough for smooth viewing but all things considered, it works well for me...

Because he probably wants to see camera feed when he is NOT at the warehouse.

how did you pay so far in advance for voice service?

i have need of a voice only service for my pixel 9 (don't need data at all). is it cheaper than hello mobile's $5/month unlimited talk plan?

I was getting tracfones so I could get free iphones to sell and trade last year. Well that deal is gone, you could still get two tracfone smartphones with text/voice and a little data for $40 from HSN. To combine them, you simply activate them on the same number one at a time, the time and minutes combine. I mostly used the $30 two flip phones from ebay that I haven't seen lately.

T-Mobile has a home Internet backup plan for $10 ($20 without voice line) a month that includes 130gb of data. Seems like a better use of anyone is planning to use this at one location.
Looks like this requires both an existing voice line and a home internet line.

This sounds like the $10 business tablet plan. I've been using it for a year now and use Google Voice for calls and text.

People wasting a hard pull on this garbage? Absolutely no brains but that's because they already have a 440 score anyway so...

People worried about hard pulls affecting their credit score should have their own problems to worry about.

Great deal, but not worth the hard credit hit. The agent over the phone couldn't approve without a hard credit pull🫠
Might not be worth it to YOU...

You don't have to go to Costco and look for a booth. At my local Costco they had a booth - all it had was a sign to call the 800 number, they didn't even have a real person there, just the sign.
I called and the bs rep I spoke to drug out the call for 45 minutes saying the best they could do was a $50. plan. I hung up. Fark this reminds me of talking to a T-Mo rep in store earlier this year with the hard sell.

Just get the 130GB home internet backup plan...

It is a much better price per gigabyte, BUT if you only need 30GB, then you're paying double for no reason....

Have had this in my pixel 9 and previously pixel 8 since like July. I use it in conjunction with $96 annually US Mobile plan for the unlimited talk and text. also when you sign up in Costco etc they often have second line for half price.

It shows the backup plan at $10 with autopay. How's he paying double?
