T-mobile has a hidden plan for 30GB data a month data plan (you get your own sim and need your own device).
I got a cellular modem for $40:
https://www.netgear.com/home/mobile-wifi/lte-modems/lm1200/ [netgear.com] and was able to use it with T-mobile's provided sim card.
Call in or use their online chat to inquire about the "Basic Mobile Internet 30GB plan (SOC: MI30TE or MI30TI)". It is $15/mo but you get a $5/mo discount by using autopay.
If you can't repro then you suck. This also provides you with a phone number for the data account and you get access to t-mobile tuesdays despite it only being a data plan

So the SIM card you just put it in whatever you need to use ?
The SOC code is MI30TI
(mobile internet 30gb tax included)
It's meant to be used for a hotspot, but let them know you have one on order. Once you get the sim, you can pop if into any phone or hotspot device.
I just converted it to an esim for my s23u with the help of tforce on Facebook Messenger and the rest is history.
Do they need a credit check?

If I ever want to cancel Magenta Max, but still keep the 30GB lines, will that work? Or should I create a new account with only the 30GB lines?
Edit: 4G LTE, not 5g
Rep did asked for IMEI number on the hotspot which I don't have next to me. So if it doesn't work with my hotspot that's on me.
