T-mobile has a hidden plan for 30GB data a month data plan (you get your own sim and need your own device).

I got a cellular modem for $40: https://www.netgear.com/home/mobile-wifi/lte-modems/lm1200/ [netgear.com] and was able to use it with T-mobile's provided sim card.

Call in or use their online chat to inquire about the "Basic Mobile Internet 30GB plan (SOC: MI30TE or MI30TI)". It is $15/mo but you get a $5/mo discount by using autopay.

If you can't repro then you suck. This also provides you with a phone number for the data account and you get access to t-mobile tuesdays despite it only being a data plan Smilie

Do you know the model number you use for the 5G GL inet router?
This one, they named it "Mudi": https://www.amazon.com/GL-iNet-GL...0CJF7KQ3Q/
One correction - it's 4G LTE, not 5G. For me it's more than good enough, smooth zoom call meetings and netflix streaming (I think in places where it's not busy I've gotten 100~300mbps).

At Costco today, I asked about this deal. I currently have 5 lines on Magenta Max.

The rep checked, and said he could offer me: 40 GB/Month for $15/ month, with $5/month discount for autopay for total of $10/month. Additional offer of $25 Costco Gift card

He also offered a Buy One, get half off: the deal was TWO separate hotspot lines, each with 40GB/month, for a total of $15/month with autopay for both lines Each line also came with $25 Costco Gift card for total of $50 cash card.

I took the two line deal.

Separately, I tried to upgrade my Pixel 7 to Pixel 10 Pro, but rep told me he couldn't match the online deal directly from T-Mobile.com and told me I was better off doing that upgrade online.
Do you by chance have a code for that plan? Thank you.

Does a simple choice plan qualify?

Any idea what the plan code is if I chat with them?

I've got SC also. From the T-mobile app select Shop (bottom menu button) > Home Internet > [enter address] > the last option is Home Internet Backup. Shows $10/mo ($15/mo w/o AutoPay.) T-Mobile website it's under Plans > Home Internet Plans > Home Internet Backup Plan. Make sure you're signed into your account or else it shows $20/mo ($25 w/o AutoPay)

I would think it's $20/mo ($25 w/o AutoPay) without being a Tmo customer (no lines at all) but signing up at Costco can waive service fee and additional bonuses available at Costco in-store

EDIT: Sorry, $20 ($25 w/o AutoPay) is for Home Internet Backup Plan. No idea about OP's deal but wouldnt hurt to go in-store at Costco and ask with SOC code in hand

So far it can. Not sure when TMO will start cracking down on it though,
Do you have TMHI 5G router and pop out the SIM, or get the THMI Backup with SIM only and your own 5G router and said you had a IMEI to activate later?

I gave the rep the two codes from this post. (SOC: MI30TE or MI30TI).

I don't know if he used one of those or a different one. I poked around on the web site to see if it gives a code somewhere in my account information, but don't see it.

Would like to know too, does anyone know or can confirm this?

I got mines last year by itself without a line, best to set up autopay also when you purchase the sim. I did mines in a Costco.
