T-mobile has a hidden plan for 30GB data a month data plan (you get your own sim and need your own device).
I got a cellular modem for $40:
https://www.netgear.com/home/mobile-wifi/lte-modems/lm1200/ [netgear.com] and was able to use it with T-mobile's provided sim card.
Call in or use their online chat to inquire about the "Basic Mobile Internet 30GB plan (SOC: MI30TE or MI30TI)". It is $15/mo but you get a $5/mo discount by using autopay.
If you can't repro then you suck. This also provides you with a phone number for the data account and you get access to t-mobile tuesdays despite it only being a data plan

Also told by t-mobile that auto-pay discount does not apply on select-choice plans? is that true?

The business tablet plan allegedly has prioritized data the same level as post paid voice plans. It gets deprioritized only after 50gb of usage.

No I can easily get 30 to 50 Mbps uploads consistently with my phone on this plan
I applied for this plan through chat / online sales. I specifically asked for the tax included deal and asked about a bogo promotion. No go for the bogo, so I only got one line expecting it to be tax included. When I checked my bill yesterday my plan was the tax excluded one. I used the t-mobile app to chat and ask why my plan was tax excluded when I was promised the tax included one.
I was in line too using Facebook messenger. Basically the customer support on Facebook was able to resolve my issue faster than the customer support in the app AND get me the bogo deal.
Now I have two 30MI-TI lines for $15.00 with autopay taxes included.
