Just a note… this is for a Straight Leg 10'x10' Canopy.
Three Season due the mosquito mesh roof of tent insert.

Glamping on a budget …. you can't go wrong.

I have the two room connec-tent model from them that clips on the outside of a canopy and really like it.
This one sucks. You factor in the price of a quality 10x10 straight leg canopy and you can get a much better tent for the same price.

It looks you need to buy legs separately which might be about $100? If so I'd get Coleman with instant setup.

This style uses "cheap" canopies only. Good canopies have cross bracing, needs another style of interior tent.

Figure $90 for a straight leg canopy and $49for the tent puts you at $139 for the system.

Show me another tent with 100sf of usable standing headroom space for the money.

One where you don't have to assemble poles and fight to slide thru fabric channels.

As much as I appreciate your sympathy, and I do mean it. I believe you are better off putting your effort and money into giving them better housing. Instead of being complicit for them living in the street.

This kind of tent tends to let water pool up on the rainfly long the outside edge, and colapse the tent if you're asleep or not around. I'd stick with a dome style tent. Highly reccomend the coleman weathermaster(specifically the weathermaster 10).

I know I'm late to the party here, but it's still winter and no one is doing much camping in cheap tents, in most of the country. Just need to point out that this tent doesn't even have a roof or a rainfly, so these comments aren't really applicable. It is entirely dependent on the style/shape/quality of canopy you attach it under. My Coleman canopies shed water just fine, though a cheap $40 uncoated fabric model will certainly not.

The advantage of something like this is that you can actually stand up and move around - it's like a room, not nearly as cramped as any 10x10 dome tent. If you just need a place for two people to sleep, sure, get whatever cheap tent you want, but if you need more space or need to spend time inside after waking up, especially if you already have a suitable canopy, this is way more spacious and comfortable. I do not have one but I understand that there is appeal there.

This also maximizes usable space if you happen to be camping at a music festival or something where you are only allotted so much, maybe 10x10, 10x15 or 10x20.
