Ordered a pair on Amazon, they sent me a pair that was already opened and carefully repackaged (back pull tab was missing easy to see it was an open package)

Had to CALL because Amazon chat is useless trash these days and after 45 minutes I received a tiny credit and a full refund.

Placed a second order, this time the case of the Airpods were scuffed up. Again another open box.

Once Amazon stops giving these "please keep shopping with us deals" on food/candy/water/random shit im out - products that are less than 6 months old should never be sent out as used.

Any Apple product that you get, such as watch, airpods, pencil etc. As soon as you activate it should show on your device (iPhone iPad) with a serial number.

Go to Bluetooth and click on i, all the info should be there.
If you don't see a serial number then it's fake.

This is common practice with Amazon. Horrible service on the phone and crooks aplenty that steal your products.

I agree with this, I bought few times from Amazon and it is just starting to show abnormalities few weeks after past a year. Not recommended Amazon for any Apple products

Be careful at target as well. I bought an Apple Pencil pro from them and could not get it to sync with my new iPad. I went to the Apple Store for tech support and they showed me it was a fake. They said it happens at target a lot

I haven't had much luck getting Amazon to refund price drops. After speaking with a CSR for awhile, I managed to get a roughly equivalent credit that ended up only being able to be applied to certain Amazon-sold items. I eventually used them up, but it was not clear that was the case when they offered me the credit.

Close. If you have a Prime credit card, they were $160 plus 10% cash back recently. That would end up slightly less than the current price and 5% back.
