the new quick connector sucks. there's no way to put it other than that.

the threaded one of the older version was so much better
I was afraid of that. Guess I'll return this when picking up the high pressure only one

So it appears this doesn't have the connectors for inflatable sups... I was about to pull trigger for a kayak and paddleboard..dang
You're talking about the H-R valve, like this, correct?

You can buy them pretty cheap on Amazon. For instance, here are 3 for $4: https://a.co/d/2RHzL9M

Yes. online chat works.
i tried but they said if I purchase in-store (not in-store pickup), they can only do it at the service desk. Confused

I guess I'll go in after work.

Looks similar.. wondering if these would fit this pump properly and actually inflate quickly.

Is there a trick to using this connector? I've been getting a successful connection one out of four tries and let out so much air that I just ordered one of high pressure only ones.
If it's anything like the RIDGID quick connect. run far away. I feel like it was trying to stripping the valve stem. Horrible design. I looked for tutorials online and couldn't find any.

Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Inflator with Two 5.0ah batteries and Charger
is $200 at HD.
Is the programmable pressure setting rock-solid on this? I'll be pumping an SUP (paddleboard) and inflatable kayaks, and PSI accuracy is very important.
Any downsides/cons that you can think of with this unit? ty

The new compact version that does high pressure only (tires, basketballs, etc) is also on sale for $24.97. https://www.homedepot.com/b/Tools...5yc1vZc285

I've got one of each and have had decent luck with both - just don't let them run for a long time or they will overheat and melt the o-rings/gaskets on the pump pistons inside.
I'm interested in what use-cases you have found that the high-pressure standalone version works better than this dual version? Or other reasons to have both versions?

It is obviously much smaller so easier to keep in the car but curious if there is anything else.

I bought one of these and despise the new connector. So frustrating to use and doesn't seal 2/3 of the times I connect it. And I am primary using it on auto tires, not anything speciality.

It took me a few times to figure out. Now I use this pump with no more air escaping than the old one. This is what I do:
1) Pull the outer ring up.
2) Press the connector down as far down the stem as you can.
3) release outer ring immediately.
Personally I think this is better design much faster after a few practices.

Dual function. High pressure only version has common connector that you find on most inflators.
