I bought an eSim to become an "existing" customer and installed it on an old phone, but I let Mint assign a phone number to it rather than porting my current number.

When I get the new phone, I can transfer the eSim to the new phone, but can I also port my current number to it? Or am I stuck with the new number for 60 days?

Thanks for letting me know and I am glad that it worked for you!

It seems the phone is currently OOS now.....

You are awesome it worked! I don't know why it wasn't working earlier, as I used my browser.

Anyone else who is trying to do this as a current customer, click this link, add to cart, click menu in upper left and login. It will take you to your account page. Click menu again and select "Shop New Phones" you should see the item in your cart, and check out.

Thanks for your help!

You can buy the phone without the plan for $300.
I am existing customer and I received the phone, can I use my mint sim card with current plan on this new phone? And will it be unlocked after 60 days?

Question about unlocking (context first): I am a new Mint Mobile (MM) customer. I ordered the Pixel 9 along with one year of MM Unlimited service. My current phone is a Pixel 3 XL with one month left on my yearlong AT&T pre-paid plan.

Ideally, I would like to take the SIM card out of my Pixel 3 XL, put it in my Pixel 9, and then use that for the next month - the last month of my AT&T yearlong plan. My understanding is the this Pixel 9 needs to be unlocked for that to happen, no? Can I wait till my AT&T plan is finished to begin my one year plan that I purchased through MM? Or does the MM Pixel 9 need to be on an active MM plan in order to do the unlock?

Do not use any sim or service other than a mint plan the first time you activate the phone or you risk never being able to unlock it.

The 60 day unlock timer will not start until the the day the phone has been first activated on mint.
Keep in mind there is a time restriction on activating paid for mint mobile plans, after which the paid for plan becomes invalid and they will not issue you a refund.

Correct. Visible trial plans do not have access to port out details.

I am an existing customer who ordered the phone for 299.

Can anyone share steps to activate it.
I think it would be helpful for a lot of people.

For those technologically inclined. It is possible to soft unlock the physical sim before 60 days.

Hoping they get more. I noticed this deal too late. Not sure if it is just for Black Friday, or if it is something they have regularly.

The visible Iphone deal also had $100 TIV for a junk phone. Not sure that will be there when it comes back in stock.
Have you done Trade in with them recently?

No, but as a $100 trade in with a junk phone I don't mind gambling.

I think you can just insert your mint sim card, the phone will work. Remember one previous post confirmed this.

That's amazing ! I just logged into my account and went to new phones and it showed it for $299!

Below is my order breakdown:

Nice!

Wasn't expecting to upgrade my phone but at this price its a no brainer for a better finger print sensor!
Did you pay the Recovery Fee? I ended up with a $28 fee.
