I ordered 2 phones and both phones unlocked for me this morning. Requested unlock via chat on 12/5 and transferred esim to one of the phones to activate 60 day unlock just in case.
On 12/9, got a text from Mint and got a notification that phone has been carrier unlocked. Unboxed second phone to transfer esim. Checked dev settings and saw phone is already unlocked.
do you just need to have the phone connected to the internet for the unlock to arrive since you didnt install the esim?

Once the phone is unlocked, can it used with any carrier overseas?
Yes, as long as it supports the bands where you plan on using it.
You can get the list of all the Pixel 9 supported bands of the different model numbers from Google: https://support.google.com/pixelp...y=%2Cpixel

The model from Mint is G2YBB (Settings -> About Phone -> Regulatory Labels). Doing a quick comparison with the Rest of the World model number GUR25, it is missing
- LTE band 21, 32, 39, 42, 75
- 5G sub6 band 75, 76, 79

You need to check the bands used by the telco where you plan on using

To answer the other comment on how different it is with the Google Store version, I don't know what model number you get if you purchase from the US Google Store. If it's G2YBB then it's the same I think. Bootloader can be unlocked as I mentioned earlier

You requested 2 unlocks? Or 1 unlock and the other happened to be unlocked?

Do you have two accounts or ordered 2 under one account !
Used my existing esim ($30 for 3 months) that I ordered the pixel phones with. Planned to use 1 esim.

Did you have to say you would be traveling outside the US or just request the unlock?
Yes, I said I planned to travel within the month of December.

Judging from the second phone, it does not seem that the device has to be on for the unlock period.

YMMV, but I got a targeted PayPal offer for Mint Mobile. Email title is "Get $10.00 off at Mint Mobile". The $10 immediately came off my transaction. You can also check your PayPal account. I took a screenshot showing where to find the offer.

I chatted and got a ticket number for the unlock but no text message confirmation like they have been doing. Anyone got theirs unlocked but no text or confirmation?

I went hard on this deal and ordered 5 phones, got 2 unlocked , hoping for getting other 3 unlocked . Prices of these have significantly dropped ,thanks to SD😃, no one is willing to pay even $475 for these, not sure what I'll do with 5 of these.

Are they not really enforcing the 2-phone limit or did you have/create 3 different accounts?

i bought a physical sim and activated it on an old phone, just to so i was able to buy the phone only for $300. Since the SIM is already activated, can i just pop it into the Pixel 9 if/when it shows up and the 60 days activation requirement will start?

Can anyone tell me if I buy this deal, how long until I can be considered a current customer and grab a second phone for $300? Can I activate right away if I elect for eSim, or do I have to wait for the phone to arrive? Thanks in advance.
