The issue with this particular model is a brushroll bearing on the belt side. Over time, it becomes loose and wobbly, and even taping a brushroll lock on the other end is only a temporary fix. I had 3 of these, and all experienced the same problem. Previously, I used a Hoover Evolve (the white version, not a newer gray-black version). It is essentially the same vacuum as the Hart, but the white Evolve had issues with the hose cracking right above the base and the batteries throwing errors after about a year of use.

It's not worth purchasing battery-powered appliances if they aren't brushless, IMO.

Tempted to get this for my in-laws as I regret not getting a second Karcher. I got the Karcher for them originally but am finding that we're actually using it and like it so we will probably end up just keeping it lol. We have a couple corded vacs so the idea (expecation, rather) is that we should be giving my in-laws one of them... this Hart seems to be pretty nice for the price though.

Anyone know how wide the mouth is? They intentionally don't say anywhere on the listing or product photos... so I'm guessing it's small like 8" (tried to compare to floor tile in a review photo)

10" wide mouth

I use this for cleanup after my children's meal time and it's great on the hardwood floors.

It seems to do okay on carpet but I would prefer a vacuum with stronger suction to get all the trapped debris/dust.

Have plenty of effective tools that aren't brushless. Sure would be great if cost wasn't a factor but it matters to most. Btw the battery alone in this package
is worth half the price. $101 more for the new and improved brushless version with considerably worse reviews

Does this turn into a handheld any way?

Is there no bare hose at all? It can only be used through the powered brush roll floor cleaner?

This appears to be the same vacuum as this Hoover vacuum that is currently "on sale" at Amazon for $150, reviews for it are very good. Hart and Hoover are both manufactured by TTI, which also makes Ryobi, Ridgid and Milwaukee tools.

I have experience with the hoover ones, I use them for commercial business, I went through 6 in last 2 years, but I bought them 50 a piece from last big sale, I have 4 left, but I have switched over to the brushless models. SO MUCH BETTER, batteries last forever.

several of them suffered from the little hose popping, and or just quit working, or the motor dying on the brush roller. idc though, throw aways for me. 1 night of work paid for 4 of them lol.

I have one, now buying another one. Been my go-to vacuum for a while. I like the large dirt holder comparing to other stick vacuum. Also I am into Hart 20v system (and 40v). Have extra batteries laying around.

Yes, the roller can get loose but I just tape it - does not affect its work.
