For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

I have Hulu with ads ($0.99/month) from last November with the Disney Plus with ads add-on (for $2/month).

I canceled Hulu, but I'm not sure if that cancels the Disney Plus subscription also.

The email says: "This is confirmation that your Hulu subscription will be canceled."

Depends on your billing. I had to cancel separately

Thank you! Now, I just need the Paramount deal and my streaming shopping for the year is done.

I'm looking for Paramount+. Is there a better deal than $3/mo for two months? I've been holding out

And if our subscription recently ended we cannot select this offer as we need to have been off their service for 30 days per fine print. I guess can think of another email to use and try with that as I had to do that when Paramount had offer with that sports stats site for a yearly deal... I never returned to the sports site as a former working slave there is nothing left to gamble with... So hopefully we can get this deal if we use a new email to create the account.

Paramount issues free 1-month trial codes almost every month -- you can basically just cycle through those for free.

Otherwise, if you have Walmart+ you get the free (w/ads) service included with that. If you have Amex Platinum, you also get W+ included, so you can basically parlay that into the free (with ads) version of Paramount.

Alternatively, Sportsline memberships include free Paramount+ with ads. Sportsline runs deals for 12-18 months for $20 or less a few times a year, so that's another way to get in cheap without having to cycle through monthly codes.

Monthly free / short term cheap trials or bundle deals through Sportsline are almost always the way to go on P+ because the ads are just unbearable.

It isn't showing in my account that has been unsubscribed for a year. It must not be for returning customers.

whats the discounted no ad upsell for these accounts? While this deal is for existing customers too, you could have not an active sub in the last 30 days.

First it wouldn't let me get the offer for my most recent account(had not been long enough), but I went to an old account I had not used in years and it won't let me log in because the codes they send me "doesn't look quite right" even though it is right and I'm not asking them to resend them every 5 minutes or 15 minutes or anything. I waited an hour. So now I am going to have to make a new account. Ugh.

edit to add - anyone running into the same problem, just remember you can delete/close your old, dead accounts from Hulu and then just update the email on your current one if you are not happy with what email you had to use to make the deal work.

I wouldn't watch Hulu or Disney with ads, even if it was free. Upvoting because it's still a slick deal.

I signed up for this deal and found the ads to so unbearable I watched only one show and canceled it. Not worth even $1 a month.

Offer wasn't available on two of my accounts, but worked just fine on one I created a few years ago!

For those of us who got the free 3 month Hulu/Disney+/ESPN trio recently https://slickdeals.net/f/17928987-disney-movie-insiders-has-3-month-free-trial-disney-bundle-trio-basic-us-only-disney-with-ads-hulu-with-ads-and-espn-with-ads
Is it possible to get this year deal now and then immediately pause it for the maximum 12 weeks, while we have the free three month deal (in a different account of course) and then restart it when that deal runs out, thereby preserving the whole year of this deal, while still enjoying the other deal?
(As I ask this, I realized that if we extend this deal longer than a year, it will still have three months left when the 2025 Black Friday deal starts, and we will have the same concurrent service dilemma then too...)

Any ideas why my three accounts don't show the deal? Two of which haven't been active for years.

Same for me

Anyone getting an error when trying to use a Privacy.com virtual credit card?

I get this error repeatedly:

I use Privacy (https://privacy.com) to create a virtual credit cards for everything online. I've used Privacy for Hulu for 4 years (different virtual card each year) without issue.
Privacy doesn't show any transaction declines, so it seems this is related to Hulu's billing system. I hope they didn't start blocking new virtual credit cards.

I just used my privacy account with no problem. Did everything on my phone.
