For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

Again though... That's ONLY Max subscription.

If you buy that, you're not getting Disney+ or Hulu.
I'm sorry, my mistake. You're right.

Folks, if you consume these services on your PC, just know that with Ad blockers, you can avoid all so called Ads. I have a separate PC setup as a media center hooked up into my large TV and there is no Ads. Just sharing, cheers!

(ahem) surprised this got 1,500 upvodes with ads.

Any offers for a REAL Disney+ subscription (no ads)? Thx! (I mean other than the "usual" $20 less ~$7 Amex sign up credit)

Do ads = commercials? Does whatever you're watching get interrupted every 4-5 minutes so you can watch 2-3 minutes of ads?
Never used this before, but wanted to get Hulu/Disney sub.

That time of year again. Add a number to the end of your email address. Clear your cache and cookies. Add a new payment method. Then watch Hulu again.

Learn how to use a router to block all incoming ad traffic. Google the method.

Can you help with the keyword? I tried adgaurd dns but it only works on my LG TV for Disney plus

Has anyone been able to sign up for the Hulu offer for 99 cents on Hulu's site and then add Disney+ for $1.99?

I'd much rather have Disney be included as an add-on I have the option to cancel later than have to be committed to both.

I think you will have to create a new account, but your current account should work again to renew at the discounted price next year, so you basically just have to alternate between two accounts.
What we need is something like Huluswitcher.com, a free online tool to synchronize your watch list once a year between the two accounts.

I've had the Disney Plus for an extra $2.99 in the past. Not seeing it now. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'd like to hear their specific method too. I enjoy Hulu ad-free on my PC thanks to browser extensions but when it comes to smart TVs I have not found a DNS-level adblocker that works well enough to apply at the router level. Everything I've researched comes with caveats and annoyances that make it more of a hassle than just suffering through the ads.

Any trick for existing subscribers without using new email addresses as this will lose my watch history?

I am using the AdBlock extension on a MacBook and still get ads before and during an episode. Is there another ad blocker that will work better?
