you cant beat that squier xii doorbuster. Was $469 now $296 after 10% Fender play extra discount.

I got it 2 weeks ago and paid $40 more.

I got one earlier this year. I put Pure Vintage 65 JM pickups in it. I think it's a little clearer. That was my only minor annoyance I had was clarity of the 12 string sound.

The contemporary active Squier basses for around $300 look like a good deal. Wish the classic vibes were that price again.

I absolutely love the "neon genesis evangelion" purple on the bronco bass and other sonic series guitars… but man, I wish it was on a slightly nicer guitar. Buying one of those things basically means committing to a couple hours of neck work, new pickups, new tuners, maybe a new nut, etc.

Was excited to see all the squires. Then I realized…I have them all. The new paranormal,tele looks interesting, but I already have the shiflett so guess that's a pass.

Did anyone else end up ordering from Fender last week? I ordered a Contemporary Jag HH on 11/29 and the order shows "Complete" with a Fedex tracking # but there's zero movement on it. I read around that Fender is going to generally prioritize bulk shipments to distributors, etc and that individual customer orders are going to get lower priority when it comes to shipments. I'm assuming this is the case but wanted to see if anyone is experiencing the same. I'm guessing/hoping this will ship within the week. Looks like it's coming from SoCal (Inland Empire) which is good because I'm in SoCal and hopefully will get it relatively quickly once it actually does go out.
