I dont think thats true. Just looked at the manual and it can still do 240V with one generator, but the max output is only 25A with one Generator:
From the manual:
The output voltage is 120/240V, and the current is only 25A without
parallel connection.
120V socket hole: 120V(Voltage)×25A(Current)=3000W(Output Power)
240V socket hole: 240V(Voltage)×25A(Current)=6000W(Output Power)
When two generators are connected in parallel, the socket can
output 240V voltage at 50A current:
240V(Voltage)×50A(Current)=12000W(Output Power)

Also, I went through the Capital One shopping app and they had an offer for 18% back.

Lucky you. I think I got 4.5% or 6% from C1
Yesterday the 40% offer was 8% everything else. Today it's a 30% offer with 9% everything else.

Maybe it's personalized offer? I was checking it every day since Friday. I never saw anything more than 6%. How do you all get 27%~40%?

Maybe a dumb question but can I run an appliance that's 4400 watts running, 5900 watts starting (30 amps) on this?
Possibly with these listed specs, if they're accurate. 4400 watts at 240V is about 19A. That's approx the running current of a 4ton AC unit, which has an inrush current around 25-30A. 5900W is 25A... So the answer is, maybe?

I am able to see the 30% off now. But still, it says for "new membership" and everything else is 9%. I feel the C1 shopping app is misleading. Since I ordered the generator already, I am going to try buying something else.

Up to 90% now, 18% everything else. The heat just got turned on with this deal. Don't remind me that these can be paired for 50A. 😀

Can this be kept outside when it's raining? If not, how do you run it during a storm? Also, do you keep a propane tank on hand for power outages or do you just keep it full with gas? Last question - what kind of transfer switch do I need for this? Thanks in advance Smilie

Two of these parallel together beat the price and performance of one 11000w inverter generator.

No to rain. Cover it with something, Google ideas if needed. Propane tank stored full, never goes bad. If you have a long outage and cannot get more propane easily then gas is often more available, use it then. Gas goes bad in a year or two even with stabilizers added to it. Attempt to avoid. Skip transfer switches, complicated and expensive while greatly reducing what you can power. Find a suitable interlock kit instead, usually $15 and allows you to use your entire panel.

These broad-stroke comments require you to research and read more but should get you in the right direction.

Thanks! With an interlock kit though I'd have to manually shut off the circuits I don't / can't power, right?

Does anyone knows how often do they run these discount? Or it is it only for Black Friday?

I can't believe how easily this thing starts. Literally a single engine rotation out of the box after adding oil + gas and connecting the included lithium starter battery. Every single start through the brake-in cycle was one engine revolution or less, basically one second of starter engagement. This thing starts on gasoline easier than a Honda. Wondering how they achieved that. Ran the generator up to overload at 27 amps 240 and it's phenomenal and quiet. Great range on the remote start. Very clean exhaust does not smell like gasoline or a lawn mower engine. Wondering if there's a catalytic muffler in there.... It meets California emissions and has a two year emissions warranty. Engine speed control is fast and responsive. Unbelievably nice for $799.

After breaking I'll be putting amsoil small engine or amsoil z-rod in it. Nothing protects a stored engine better unless you're going to fog. Z-Rod is great in splash engines.

Any idea why this 7500 is so much cheaper than the 7250 that is sold at multiple other locations?
