I have two of these. Bought for 15 each last time when they were introduced.
These are fantastic.

Yes, the vacuum tubes light up in addition to the green leds. Green LEDs cannot be turned off, that's a pain in bedrooms etc.

Surprisingly good sound quality, pretty good bass. Elevated highs, warm mids. Bass is good, but you could hear port chuffing at higher volumes. Distortion free mostly.

No issues with Bluetooth connectivity. Featured NFC but I could never make it work. There's direct digital input (usb-mini? Printer cable) but not sure about the dac. Plus 3.5mm audio cable.

Units heavy, looks good.

Touch control buttons suck, easy to miss.
Volume resets to 50% on power on.
There's an LED indicator which shows input and power status which is nice.

I was curious enough to do some research, this is a rebrand of the Lanchiya MK70 which has been around for a few years. Reviews are actually not bad, the unit weighs 6 lbs and is just over a foot wide so there is some substance. The tubes are preamp but actually do something.
Here's a review from Meh.com, I guess they sold a batch around 2020.

Nothing screams vintage tubey goodness like plastering two tubes to the outside of a glorified intercom.

I mean, it probably isn't that bad for 30 dollars. Typically speakers of this price that feature vacuum tubes only run them as a buffer(i.e they simply pass the sound through the tubes in the preamp stage to add a bit of hopefully pleasant harmonic distortion), and use a cheap class d amp for driving the speakers. This looks to be no exception, assuming they are using the tubes in the signal path at all. Looking through the manual and all the reviews, I was unable to find out what tubes they are using.

Vacuum tube replacement will cost between $20 and $40, depending on the model and manufacturer.

Apparently these don't produce accurate sounds but that's the idea.

It creates something close to the intended sound but this inaccuracy allows more interpretation / a different experience. Also there's more "depth" to the sounds.

Amazon: This device has been on sale for $30 & it was like that for ~5 months (source: the C CC website) . Not really a flying off the shelves item.

In the videos, the light shows only at the base of the tubes. Wondering if the tubes really function or not? Maybe the light is just leds at the bottom šŸ¤”
