I'm still relatively new to the 3d printing world (but I'm covering ground fast lol)... what is the difference between their PLA and PLA+?
The "+"
The difference is really just marketing. The plus will have some "additives" but in the real world, they don't really change anything. There are some very well known and expensive brands where it might make a slight difference but 99% it is not worth the extra dollar or two.

Run - do not walk -from their PLA+. I standardized on it after a few good test prints in a direct drive machine. In a Bowden tube, the filament will break after about 1-3 weeks sitting (even fully dried). Worse, it exhibits long term deterioration and fracture under low to moderate loads.

Huh is it worse than their regular PLA?

That's not really true. The popular PLA+/PLA Pro brands have been pretty heavily tested by third parties, and there's a pretty significant difference in durability between them and plain PLA. The biggest one is impact resistance. While PLA has poor impact resistance, PLA+ (from the reputable brands like Polymaker, eSun, Duramic, etc) has higher impact resistance than even many of the expensive engineering filaments. Of course, if you're just printing trinkets, it doesn't really matter, but for functional parts that need to be very durable, it makes a significant difference. The only area PLA+ does poorly in is temperature resistance, but PLA is even worse in that regard.
I've never had issues with eSun breaking on my Bambu through the AMS. However, it will clog any nozzle smaller than 0.4, it's the only brand I can't print with smaller nozzles.
