This is a pretty good deal from Verizon. This offer expires on 12/2. > QA note: Offer extended

https://www.verizonwireless.com

Get up to 4 iPhone 16 Pro 128Gb free via bill credits over 36 months after trading in any Apple, Google, or Samsung phone with any new myPlan Unlimited line. This includes the cheapest and lowest tier Unlimited Welcome. For 4 lines it works out to be $120+taxes and fees with a debit card autopay.

Terms: "$999.99 (128 GB only) purchase w/new smartphone line on Unlimited Ultimate, postpaid Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Welcome plan (min. $65/mo w/Auto Pay (+taxes/fees) for 36 mos) req'd per phone. Less $1,000 trade-in/promo credit applied over 36 mos. per phone; promo credit ends if eligibility req's are no longer met; 0% APR. Trade-in must be from Apple, Google or Samsung; trade-in terms apply. Apple Intelligence is available with Siri and device language set to U.S. English. Some features and languages will be coming over the next year."

In addition you can recieve a $300 Verizon gift card that will appear as a popup during checkout.

Terms: "Get a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card on us, when you complete the smartphone purchase from your cart. You'll be able to redeem a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card in My Verizon or vzw.com/myverizon after placing your order. You must submit for redemption within 60 days of order. Your reward will be sent via email within 8 weeks after receipt and validation of claim to the submitted email address. If service is canceled or device is returned, claim will be invalid. We reserve the right to charge the amount of the Verizon e-Gift Card to your Verizon Wireless account if, within 12 months, service is canceled, price plan changes from an eligible unlimited plan, or the line is connected to a device payment plan regardless of whether the new device is activated. A suspension without billing will add the time you are suspended to your 12 month chargeback window. Add'l terms apply."

Verizon devices auto unlock after 60 days.

Due to repeated questions in the thread here are additional details.

The $300 Verizon GC offer is tied to purchasing a smartphone online. You are eligible to claim this offer for every order transaction regardless if you are placing an order for 1 phone/line or 10 phones/lines.

The $200 Verizon GC offer folks have been receiving via sales chat/phone is a switch promotion. I am not able to find the terms for this offer but in the past this has been an available offer which requires you to port in from a non Verizon carrier that includes the various Verizon prepaids and MNVOs.

To my knowledge these Verizon GC offers have 12 month service terms or you will be charged back "claw back"

There are currently 2 separate iPhone 16 offers.
- the offer in this post which involves the trade in of any Apple, Google, and Samsung device for $1000 in bill credits with new lines
- no trade in required to receive $1000/$820/$640 in bill credits with new lines for the Ultimate/Plus/Welcome plans respectively

When you add the phone to the cart you must choose the right offer otherwise you will not go through the workflow with the step to add a trade in.

In addition if you enter a non Apple, Google, or Samsung device during the trade in you will receive the actual value of the device, including $0 if its older to be recycled, AND you'll be defaulted to the non trade in promotion.

This is the reason at checkout some people are seeing $10/month or $5/month because they've selected the Welcome or Plus plan respectively and the non trade in offer has been applied.

There have also been a lot of "can I trade in XXX phone?".
The terms state you can trade in ANY Apple, Google, or Samsung phone in any condition. In my experience the any condition is intentionally meant to covered cracked screens and aesthetic damages. The device should turn on and function well enough that the IMEI can be retrieved and have no swelling/damaged battery (for safe handling reasons). Regarding any phone from the 3 manufacturers the process is constrained by the system and the list of devices/imei in its database. Be reasonable and don't expect extremely obscure or foreign region only devices to come up.

You can determine for yourself if a device qualifies for the $1000 by going through the online order process. You will need to enter the IMEI so you must have the device in hand. If you are not getting the $1000 value then you likely have not selected the right offer when adding the phone to the cart or your device is too obscure. I've attached screenshots of 2 devices that have been inquired about (A03 and 5c) showing the $1000 trade in amount.

Does it work. Adding 1 line at a time? And getting 3-4 $300 GC?
Just successfully completed my 2nd order,

For some reason I can't get the $300 GC to show up again, now that I am signed in it offers a $200 GC. ( So I will have $300 +200 + 200 +200 once I get to 4 lines)

The benefit of this is by avoiding chat I can get $150 per line from Cashback site, so I still think this is the best way to approach, as long as I am able to get 2 more orders in before the promo is pulled ( you can't order until your order ships) worst case I can order for pickup in store.

So in total $900 in VZ Gift cards + $600 in Cashback = really solid deal.

When does the trade in promo end? Seems like the cheapest plan is missing 5G UW and hotspot capabilities. Versus everything included on previous TW $15 deal for 5 years.

It hasn't paid out yet , but it tracked , and they listed $150 for both new accounts and add a line, so I assume would qualify

I just wish I could figure out how to get the $300 card to stick because that would be a great deal. It seems to show up when logged out but not logged in.

Slightly off topic.. anyone buying insurance on your phones? I have Amex Platinum which comes with a phone insurance plan provided you pay the phone bill with your Amex monthly. Unfortunately if I do that, I will lose the discount I am currently getting with Verizon for being on auto payment (this offer applies only to bank accounts and not cc payments).

Looking for a good hack. I've heard you can pay a position of your payment on your card and other via auto pay but I am not sure if that would work with Verizon...

So what's the update? I'm in the same situation as you.
It did not go smoothly. Lol. Just more promises from the CS dept that I do qualify for the Chat $200 p/l gift card offer, and I SHOULD get an email within 7 days. When I mentioned that It could be deal breaker if I don't get the $800 worth of gift cards, the rep said that she's adding another note about my gift card eligibility (another rep had already added a note to my account). Not that this was really reassuring, but I was willing to roll the dice (was paying $170 for 4 lines at T-mobile on Magenta Max, will be paying about $160 on Welcome plan and 4 new iPhones), and so I ported over all the lines. I'll wait a week or 2, and hopefully someone will have an update here. I won't send my trade-in phones just yet. Hope they don't charge any restocking fee if I do decide to cancel, as others in the thread noted.

Here's how I worked around Verizon/T-Mobile's bank account requirement for discounts and kept my credit card's cell phone protection:
  • Got a dual SIM setup (Verizon automatally unlocks Iphone after 60 days)
  • Put one of eSIM on Xfinity Mobile—costs me just $2-something/month/line for me
  • Set my credit card to pay for Xfinity, so I still qualify for the phone protection perk.

The real benefit of doing it your way is avoiding the chats. I got tired of doing chats because each agent was telling me something different. I would rather order online myself and make sure I get everything right. The risk is they could end the promo at any time, in which case I might end up with one line for $75/month.

Just switched and ordered via chat from T-Mobile 5 lines. Got $200/line GC for 5 lines and traded in old cracked phones (bought in a lot on eBay) for all free iPhones. Got the Unlimited Plus with Nurses discount and total with 3 iPhone Pros and 2 IPhone Maxs was $222.47 with Taxes and Fees. I took a screenshot of the entire chat and screen recorded in case something went wrong. I won't lie though, with T-Mobile I had 9 lines and paid $175/months (added bunch of unused free lines over the years and insider discount). Moving for now because deal with Verizon was good. I will sell all 5 iPhone pros on eBay and make about $2000-2500. Also, already sold S21s that I also got free with the free line combo promos with T-Mobile for $250 each. So I am all set for now
So order got cancelled because they couldn't verify my identity. Told me to go in the store and have them verify and reprocess the order. They told me they had to replace the order and the Black Friday deal was done. Fought tooth and nail and finally negotiated the store manage to agree to have them email 5he Verizon team to place the credits manually. Now we wait and see. If they don't agree, he said they would just credit the $170 per line for the iPhone credit manually. They still honored the waive activation fees and the $200/line gift cards. Now we wait to see how much the mess up my bill lol. Have everything documented just in case.

Will the phone get unlocked after 60 days?

Also do I need to keep the phone active for whole 60 days on Verizon or can I just activate and then switch phone to Samsung?

Considering you have to pay for the phones regardless, and there is no possible way to avoid doing that in the first 60 days besides buying the phone outright completely. Plus you will lose the 200/line giftcard and or 300 giftcard idf you do.

I am doing the trade in any phone (used some iPhone 5c's from eBay) to trade for the 16 plus, on 4 lines of welcome unlimited.

I am adding each line one at a time to get the 300/200 gift cards + the Cashback portal payout for each order, so basically an additional $700 over the chat method.

Have you actually tried to take advantage of the coverage since you set this up?
