Having no luck redeeming the promo code from best buy. I add the code and click start the free 3 months and it just gives me a spinner icon and never completes the page. Chrome and Firefox don't work.

EDIT: disabled adblocker and it worked...

Same here, guess I'll just have to make a new login with a different email. They used to be less strict with these 3 free month deals. You only had to cancel for a day or two before redeeming another code.

Agreed, apple TV's batting average is pretty good.Not a basic cable substitute like Netflix, but Netflix is dominant player on that level and it seems like most people have settled on Netflix for that role.

Everyone else has essentially become an HBO/showtime/RSN/etc. Apple TV is doing pretty good on that level. More watchable new stuff, less good old stuff to rewatch.

First tried to use my old Apple account (as in I haven't used it in 10+years) it was locked so I requested to activate it. But rather than wait I created a new account, entered a credit card, redeemed the 3 months free and started watching. Now after a few hours, my new account is also locked, wtf apple?

Thanks OP. Been meaning to catch up on some shows. If you're looking for something more uplifting and funny I highly recommend Acapulco. Incredibly underrated series.
