I can't imagine not having one of these as a sidekick to my real saws. The 14" is the sweet spot, the 16" is too much bar and chain for the 40v batteries. It's still good but not as good as this one.

I have a lot of hours on these and really love them.

A little. It doesn't just run out but not only will some leak but when you are done using it the bar and chain have a bit of oil in them if everything is working.

One of my favorite uses for these is as a vehicle saw for clearing road obstructions. I just bag the saw in a contractors trash bag and set it on a boot tray. Oily is kind of a chainsaws nature, I've just learned to live with it.

I have a similar one from 2016, and it does leak oil when hung from a tool bar. Could be the O-ring on the cap needs replacing. It doesn't leak enough for me to try to fix it.

I think I'm in for one of these, though. New chain, and new 5-year warranty are almost worth it, plus the older model I have cannot take 4 or 6 Ah batteries.

Garbage!!!! I bought and returned mine a couple days later. Any stress at all and it will over volt hour batteries, which will take an hour to cool enough to charge or use again. The chain dulled immediately, and I was only trying to cut a small limb on an oak tree. I grabbed my 15 year old corded 10" craftsman chainsaw and it went through like butter, after I went through TWO batteries on the Ryobi. Complete POS.

These things blow through batteries fast. You might get 15 cuts on a log before you have to swap out batteries. I need 4 full charged batteries on deck to make any progress on yard work. If you are going to be doing lots of tree work get a gas.

I have the 10" 18V saw and I'd like to get this especially at that price but don't have any 40V batteries or chargers. Unlike 18V where I have batteries and chargers coming out of my ears from past deals. To spring for a couple of 40V batteries and a charger would kill this deal price.
