The Italiano variety is a penny cheaper. I haven't tried the Perfetto but I'm guessing it's similar. These prices are nothing special.

all 3 varieties are historically low priced now and S&S available.

of the 3 i had not tried intensity 6 perfetto, so i look forward to it.
imho italiano is bland fruity trash, gran crema is good but burnt.

Agree'd... fairly typical price; GREAT deals are usually under $10 for a 2.2lb bag for Lavazza Espresso Beans.

If you have access to Sam's club, Starbucks 2.5lb is a dollar cheaper until December 1st.

This. At least this one is arabica, not a blend.

Is dark roast beans good for espresso? I am new to this espresso thing not sure which beans to choose. I use breville bambino plus machine.

Super Crema is what I usually buy, can get them at ~ $10/bag fairly often. This is showing $11.90 for me with with 15% S&S, ordered a bag to try it out.

look don't fall for this dark roast / french roast scam, I'm sure it's what they do with old and/or subpar beans. The real flavor is in light and mid roasts. Dark roast is externally oily, smokey and bitter.

I got the super crema one two weeks ago. It was baked back in May. It is ok if you drink milk coffee. For espresso, I suggest find fresher supplies from local stores.

It depends on your taste. But sometimes people sell dark roasted beans if the beans are of low quality. Dark roasting it will cover the flaws. Some good beans from southern America is light to medium roasted. That would be good for espresso. Also, pay attention to the extraction time. If it is too long, the liquid will be more bitter.
