If not, this is a great deal because I doubt you will find any other reputable planer for under $300. So far the cuts have been great with this as I haven't noticed any snipe on any of the boards I've used with it.

Here you are. It's not cheap but everyone says helical is the way to go. Like I mentioned, I've been very happy with the cut quality (I have the R4850 but they are essentially the same). So I don't see myself forking up the money for this anytime soon. You will have to install this yourself and keep in mind once you do put this on your planer, you are voiding the 5 year warranty.
