This stuff cured an antibiotic resistant infection I had overnight! High vitamin c doses does wonders in its NATURAL form like this for all kinds of health issues, not the synthetic crap in most "vitamic c" supplements!

Are you willing to trust products from Brazil; to be what they're claimed to be?

Brazilian products are the best! They're known for being high-quality and sustainable, unlike American products which are full of unnecessary additives because American companies care more about money than making good stuff. Brazil follows strict international standards and is eco-friendly, so you can trust that their products are reliable and ethical.

Here are the 4 most recent reviews. Sounds very suspect quality.

Unidentifiable Off-White Grains Mixed in Camu Camu
Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2024
Size: 7 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This company was once one my favorite companies. Over the years, it went downhill. Other reviewers have mentioned quality control issues, and while I continued to be dissatisfied with quality decreases, it seems I finally hit what other reviewers mentioned. I found these unidentifiable white grains mixed in with the Camu Camu. Ive been taking Camu Camu for years, so I know the taste and solubility well. These grains are insoluble, so I doubt they are even a food product. What are they? Not 100% sure, and I did consume some, but no major reaction yet. I'd say avoid this company/product. Other reviewers found similar adulterated grains and foreign entities in their other supplements as well. Stay safe!!

Not a good batch

I ordered this particular brand because it stated it was the Brazilian brand. It stated it was tart sour and red. This is the type I was using from another manufacturer. I thought it I would save a few dollars. It came more like brown sawdust, a slight pink, and not tart at... See more

Questionable product
Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2024

The powder is gritty, does not dissolve in water. Unexpectedly, It caused nausea and heartburn. It is not refundable. Real camu is full of nutrients but Nutrition facts on the package list no vitamin C or any other vitamins. This makes me question content and any testing... See more

Near Expiration Date
Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2024

Camu powder is supposed to have a long shelf life. The powder I received in September has a Dec 1 expiration date of this year. I assume it has been sitting in a warehouse shelf for a long time.

I really hate to be *that person* who pops into a thread and dumps on something - so I won't.

What I will do is say that this is produced in Brazil and it's good to see that they've got a US distributor. That said, consider a brand that has a stronger rep when it comes to supplements, please. It's easy to buy anything we see on sale, etc. without looking too deeply into any information about the company producing the product.

I'd suggest considering another known brand, such as Bulk Supplements - I'm not affiliated with them, nor with Supp.Co the app that I've been using to go through my own supplement stack and throwing out a lot of questionable items to replace them with brands that at least have known/public testing measures, etc. SuppCo does some of that rating and they don't have every company out there, however, I couldn't find a score on FGO. I've found that Bulk Supplements has a score of 8.5 (out of 10) which is pretty solid for an org that has solid products and great prices.

I realize I sound like an advertisement—ugh, sorry! I've been really trying to avoid putting junk into my system, or possibly worse: unknown junk.

This looks like a solid deal ($3.62 for 30 servings - 12 cents/serving) and Bulk Supplements (brand powders I've recently started trying) is solid ($17.82 for 200 servings - 9 cents/serving) and a bit of a better deal for what I at least perceive to be known quality.

Sorry for landing like and ad. It's really not; I've got no skin in this game and am still learning a lot (possibly including how to do math - Bulk Supps calls a serving 2.5 ounces / FGO calls a serving 5 ounces).

Don't think so — per my post above w the 4 most recent reviews, all say this batch has impurities/foreign granules in it so it's more likely they are dumping this contaminated batch for cheap.

Looks like you are correct, all reviews in 2024 are negative with pictures to show.
