Only glaring shortcoming for me is that the display is just 250 nits. For reference, the m1 MacBook Air, which I consider the all round baseline, is 400 nits. At 250 nits, it's unusable outside but you might be fine by only using it indoors.

Few years ago my work laptop was hp Elitebook (forgot which model) and I like it very much since that was my first hp laptop. Again I moved to Thinkpad. Nowadays no love to Elitebook. Is Elitebook series out of current trend and missing latest specs? TIA.

I like the elitebook just fine, but this is one model behind the current generation (G11), which is about a year behind the current model (Gen 6) Thinkpad T series in terms of tech specs.

You'll see that the latest and greatest comes with a hefty pricetag difference as well.



Edit to add: These G10s only get a 1yr warranty included, while the G11s come with the standard 3yr.
