I always wonder, what is the difference between cream and lotion? Can any beauty expert explain to me?
Water content maybe. Although I have some gold bond overnight lotion in a tube that is thick AF. Because I wait until my skin is dry before applying, I prefer the stuff with HLA in it, it feels like it soaks in better to dry skin.
My wife swears by this tub of lotion in particular, she doesn't want it in a tube or a pump bottle. I think it's maybe $5 cheaper than Costco at this price.

Creams tend to have higher content of emollients and occlusive ingredients compared to lotions. This is what gives them their thicker texture. This can help them be better suited for areas with higher skin barrier damage (e.g. elbows, knees, etc).
That being said, a lot of it comes down to personal preference. A good lotion and a good cream will keep your skin moisturized so don't stress too much over it. Go with what feels the best.
Pro-tip: apply your moisturizer right after you shower and just lightly pat dry your body so there's still just a small layer of water on your body. You don't want it dripping, but don't want it bone dry. This will help your moisturizer work even better b/c it can use the little bit of water left on your skin to create a supra-moisturizing effect.

What is Costco price typically alternative month they run the deal for 2 mos
Costco's standard price is $19.99 and when it goes on sale (last sale I've seen in my area was June) it's $5 off. Something people need to understand though, is that this deal at Amazon comes with two 16-ounce containers, while the Costco product comes with one 16-ounce and one 20-ounce container. So when you break down the cost per ounce, this deal is better than Costco's normal price, but not as cheap as Costco's on sale price. So Costco's sale price is technically better, but this deal is close enough and worth it if you are in need of some right now.
Normal Costco Price: $0.55 per ounce
On Sale Costco Price: $0.42 per ounce
This Amazon Deal Price: $0.44 per ounce
