Edit: I did a chat on discover.com and asked if I could get a retention offer since I was considering cancelling and immediately got offered a bonus 3% extra Cashback for three months effective the next day. Worth a shot to get 8% CB with your Discover card instead of 5!

Also no you cannot use a gift card to buy other gift cards. You can buy 4x$25 gift cards online and mailed to you.
