I have a free $50 Roblox card that my kids got gifted a few years ago,but aren't interested in. Would anyone care to try and add it to their account if I share the number? Assuming these don't expire or diminish in money with time?

How safe are these for saving for Xmas? I know lots of physical gift card especially Apple have issues with account being $0 when trying to use

Two years ago (maybe 3) I placed an order for 2 gift cards from Costco. One code worked, the other did not. Costco refunded me the one that didn't work and I had to place another order. Seemed to be a common issue at the time at least, based on reviews at pretty much all retailers. Haven't had an issue since, so fingers crossed. Certainly wouldn't sit on them for more than a month or two.
