Deal History

These 3 in one sets are generally really really bad values per brick right? Like this is a 600 piece set for 50$ normally?!!?!?!
No. In fact they are usually the opposite. The rule of thumb is Lego runs $0.10 per piece. That's $66.70 here so the regular price is a good value, and this sale price makes it a great value.

I've never understood this thinking? You are paying for the pieces and instructions to make a specific set. If your thought is, after you make the set, you dump all of your pieces in a tub to make other things, yes, there are more cost effective ways to accumulate pieces for this.
If you're on the fence, set looks great on display, much more than I anticipated. Daughter and I built it while watching the Fantastic Mr. Fox (claymation) movie.

I've always thought most Lego sets were really bad values. I've never understood the appeal to spend the money on Lego sets that people spend. From the picture, this one looks horrible, but to each their own. I'd rather build something from wood with a kid, or get them started on understanding how engines work, or fixing computers, or helping with DIY around the house, etc.

Maybe they're fans of Sanford & Son.... or of a particular porn model? Dunno.
