$40 in taxes (for my zip code) on a $160 purchase is crazy. $200 is the real cost. Not a good price. We can get same iPhone 13 with port in at metro by t-mobile for $99.99 + $75 plan and no taxes. Or the iPhone 12 for free plus $75 plan and no taxes.

So, to get the phone unlocked, you have to pay $60 a month for 12 months ($720). Ok maybe if you already in, but steep if not.

Unless you are existing boost mobile customer and get upgraded at $99, the straight talk deal are better

Do you know if the line has to be open for a certain amount of time before upgrades work? I see it at $99 in the app but then when I click on it, the price increases to $629.99.
