The extension specs are wrong on the Home Depot site.

Extension ladder min length is 8' 10"
Extension ladder max length is 14' 10"

I just got the 22ft this week, i probably only needed this one, look at the different extended height options and see if you really need the taller one.

Fully extended, this one is just shy of 15'. The 22' version is about 19' long.

Neither will safely get you to the gutters or on the roof of a traditional American 2-story.

You need to measure your own house, but the gutter of a traditional American 2-story will be roughly 19' off the ground. You need to add a foot or so to account for the ladder lean angle and it's suggested to have 2-3' sticking above the gutter to safely climb onto the roof. So actual ladder length should probably be 22' at a minimum, depending on the particulars of your house and how much you want to flaunt safety.
