Looked interesting and then I realized I bought the Kindle edition a while back for 99¢ (probably a slickdeal!).

Now I wish I'd bought it digitally for mom then too, as that's who I'm considering the paper copy for...

I bought a similar book by National Geographic a couple of years ago from the dollar store for $1 lol. It wasn't for 50 states but for the world. The moral of the story is to check dollar stores for great deals on random books.

I bought this off a similar deal last year. Very disappointed. Decent narrative but it has little in it that can't be found on a google map attraction search. Nice pictures though. The states a re in alphabetical order and I didn't see any overall map or state map with the spots noted. I read up on my home state and a few others and then gave up. Probably a better coffee table book than travel guide
