Ethernet version was $100 just 12 hours ago. I know it's OOS, but there has to be some yardstick for these "hot deals"

Thanks for the info!
I made two separate purchases for Apple gift cards to earn $15 target gift cards. If you purchase using Target credit card, you will get additional $5 so technically you will get $20 for each transaction.
I had also enabled the Target circle rewards program to earn $15 (have to make two $75 purchase)
So I got below target rewards
$20 + $20 + $15 =$55.00
Plus Apple gift card from Apple - $25
Total $55 + $25 =$80.00
2. 64GB storage instead of 32GB
3. Wifi 6 instead WiFi 5
4. better CPU/GPU
Re the RAM, I don't even use the smaller one on my chromecast. Wifi 5 is also plenty enough for streaming 4K.
So I still don't get why I'd pay anything over the $30 I paid for the Google TV 4K, since it's almost lag-free compared to my LG TV's built in smart TV.
My question remains; what extra functionality do I get from Apple TV?

I'm looking to get this to replace a 4 yr old Fire Stick, and my wife and I only use about 6-7 streaming apps total. Starting to think the WiFi only model may suffice.

Roku sucks. My friend works there as a software engineer and was telling me how they've pivoted to earn $$$$ from ads
