We had the king version of this with a Zinus mattress. Pretty decent overall but the legs ended up snapping on year 3. For a spare bedroom, gentle use, or placement where it won't be moved would probably last a lot longer.

I bought one of their green tea foam mattresses a couple of years ago and it's fiberglass free. Just look for the ones that are CertiPUR-US certified.

These are good bed frames for the price. However I would get rid of their wooden slats and replace it with plywood. About $40-45 extra cost, but worth it in my opinion.

3-inch spacing between slats is a LOT. If you have children who would jump on the bed once in a while, that could be dangerous. If you don't want to use Plywood, atleast buy a few 1x2 or 1x3 dimensional lumber from HD and reduce the gap down to 1" or lower by placing them closer to each other.

I have done this mod for nearly all beds I have owned, including ones bought from Ikea and other furniture stores.
